You Don't Have to Do It Alone

Facing the impending loss of a pet is one of the most difficult experiences a pet parent will face.

Whether your pet is approaching his golden years or has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, it’s important to calmly guide the end-of-life experience and minimize any discomfort or distress.

I provide several options to help you through this process.

Hospice

The hospice program is a family-focused service for those who know their pet is in the end stages of life and need support to navigate through this difficult time.

With the hospice program, I will be with you from before your pet’s death to afterward. With this service, we will focus on the comfort of your pet as well as support for the family. Our goal is to manage symptoms and keep your pet as happy as possible.

Working with you and your veterinarian, we can create an end-of-life plan that supports your choice of either a natural death or euthanasia as well as what will happen after death.

Should you elect euthanasia, I will accompany you to the vet and be with you as support through the entire process. Should you not be able to be in the room for the final transition, I will stay and be with your pet for their final moments.

You can expect to receive:

End-Of-Life Planning

Many pet owners don’t think about end-of-life planning until it’s the last moment.

With this program, I will work with you and your vet and together we will create a plan to support your pet through their final days.

We will also discuss the quality-of-life scales and talk about values and what is most important to your family and your pet.

Euthanasia Support

Saying goodbye to your beloved pet is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. You don’t have to be alone on this very difficult day.

I will come to your home and help prepare you and your pet. I will accompany you to the vet and be there as support for you and your pet.

Should you not be able to stay in the room, I will remain with your pet until their final moment.

End-Of-Life Photos

An end-of-life pet photography session is a celebration of the life your pet has lived, and the bond that you have with them.

End-of-life photos can help you memorialize your pet in a special way.

When you look at their portrait or your family picture, you can think back to the adventures you shared.

Though they may no longer be physically present, their memory will be with you forever.
